For Faculty

George Washington University’s collection of contemporary art and art by Washington artists, along with the exhibitions offered by the Luther W. Brady Art Gallery, provide immense opportunities to serve faculty in enriching their classes. Sample class collaborations are provided but other opportunities may be available. If you are interested in visiting with your class or a student organization you sponsor please fill out the form or contact us at 202-994-1525 or [email protected].

Class Gallery Visit

Exhibitions at the Brady Art Gallery are fantastic opportunities for students to view professional artwork on campus and augment coursework.  Please contact the gallery to arrange for staff of the Brady Art Gallery to greet a visiting class and provide history and context for the artwork on view or to request a class visit outside of public hours.

Specialty Gallery Tour

Art is universal and exhibitions can be utilized and activated when viewed through a different lens.  The Brady Art Gallery has been used by medical students working on their observational skills and by students preparing to face the unknown while abroad.  Please contact the gallery to discuss a specialty gallery tour.

Class Project

With a collection of over 3,800 varied works of art and the addition of the Corcoran Study Collection, many opportunities are available to gain hands-on experience by researching works in the collection or collaborating on a larger project, such as an exhibition design or collections management project.  Please contact the gallery to discuss how your class could work with the collections at this time.
